One thing that I love about California is the strawberries! We have a lot of strawberry stands in Lodi where they pick them fresh daily and they taste like candy. We eat them all the time-on ice cream, in shakes, with shortcake, chocolate dipped, and my favorite-freezer jam. I love California strawberries!

Freezer jam is a favorite at our house too. The first time I picked strawberries here in Ohio Tyler asked me to make freezer jam. That was my first time making it and now it's the only jam I like! The strawberries here are nothing like the enormous CA ones though!
