1/2-1 pkg of Rhodes frozen rolls (depending on how many you want to make)
pepperoni
shredded mozzarella
pizza sauce
Let rolls defrost and rise 3-5 hours according to pkg directions.
Flatten, folding so top of roll (which gets a little crust while rising) is on the inside, and add pepperoni and mozzarella to the middle, then seal the edges.
Let rise 20 more minutes.
Can top with olive oil, melted butter, etc.
Cook at 350 for 20 min until golden.
Heat the pizza sauce and serve for dipping ( if you put the sauce in the calzone it makes it soggy)
Can freeze extra for later

Yum!!!! We went through a stage where we ate calzones for about 6 months. We haven't had them for a few years now. Probably a good thing seeing how much weight we've gained.

Our favorite filling is ground sausage, green pepper and onion. Cook it first and then let it cool before you fill it. Thanks for sharing. I completely forgot that we used to love these!
