Free Stuff is always good

So sorry its been a while since I have posted.  Things have been pretty crazy around here.  Thanks for all the birthday wishes-had fun rock climbing with our friends.  Last week our friends got us free tickets to a Kings game and had they ended up being second row seats!  I felt like a little person next to those giants, but then we really did see a little person so I wonder how he felt....anyways,  chad got a picture with all of the King's dancers plus we got a couple of autographs.  Pretty exciting.  Saturday we stalked the Rei garage sale and got some sweet deals on gear. We then went to Auburn to the Annual Abel Pumpkin Party.  This week we have been going to all of the snowboarding movie premiers to get free lift passes and  have ended up with a lot of other free stuff.  We wanted to go to one on Saturday night so I called in the morning to see if there were tickets left.  The girl told me there were 12 left.   I told her I couldn't get there for an hour so I wanted to buy them over the phone.  She told me that I couldn't do that so I asked if there was some way I could reserve them and she tell me no there was nothing I could do.  I hung up, bummed that we couldn't go.  Well Chad decides that he is going to try.  So he calls up and the same girl answers.  He totally sweet talks her and she puts all of the rest of the tickets on hold for him!
This was a whole two minutes later after she had told me there was nothing I could do!  Punk girls!  So Saturday night we went and worked it, got more free stuff, got to chat with three Forum riders (who we had sign one of our free shirts), got Squaw passes instead of Sugarbowl, and one of our friends almost won a snowboard rapping against Travis Kennedy.  It ended up being a crazy fun night.

That is funny. I think I heard Chad sweet talking the girl at the camping reservation center too. Isn't that how he got tent reservations in an RV site??
