I forgot how you can last minute drive up the canyon a half hour away and find a fabulous camping spot. I don't miss having to plan months in advance to pay $40 to get a good spot, and then be smashed in with a whole bunch of strangers. And you can just make a fire in any old place. Please note the morning sun shining through Saylor's rat nest-love camping.

You mean like our trip to shasta that cost $80 a person. For camp site, fee for changing camp sites, gas for boat, plus California's lodging tax. California is totally awesome!
