We went up to Ashland, Oregon to the Abel's ranch where we spent a interesting fourth of July (a lot of hippies in Ashland). The parade had synchronized segways!!! (How cool is that) as well as some other, what shall we say?-characters. We also climbed to the top of Pilot Rock where there is an amazing view of Mt. Shasta. Anyways it was super fun-I do love America!

Kara Oldham (or sorry I forgot your married name)! I haven't heard from you so long and now I find you here! Remember those good old days at Mama K's? Sounds like things have been going good for you! Such a brave adventurer. Let's catch up sometime!
