Backpacking in Point Reyes

This weekend Chad and I went on a small backpacking trip through Point Reyes. It was very beautiful. You hike through all of these fern forests, get to these rolling fields and then finally to the seashore. We started on the Bear Valley Trail.

We camped in Glenn Camp which you can only get to by hiking.  We got camp 5 which was by far the best campsite-yes, it was a girl who made the reservations for Chad on the phone.
I do think these pricklies are pretty..

We ended with driving up the coast to Bodega Bay (where Hitchcock's "The Birds" was filmed). There we got a good serving of fish and chips and clam chowder in a bread bowl to finish off our trip.
